Disposable Pelican-Type Grasping Forceps with a wide 9.5–15 mm jaw opening for secure retrieval of larger objects in endoscopy. Sterile, latex-free; 1.8/2.4 mm OD, compatible with ≥2.0 mm (broncho) and ≥2.8 mm (gastro/colono) working channels.
The Disposable Grasping Forceps (Pelican Type) are designed for effective retrieval of foreign bodies during endoscopic procedures. The Pelican design provides a wider opening range (9.5–15 mm depending on the model), ensuring secure grasping of larger or irregular objects. Sterile, latex-free, and single-use, these instruments reduce cross-contamination risks and enhance patient safety.
A complete set of configurations is available for bronchoscopy, gastroscopy, and colonoscopy. For bronchoscopy, slim models with a 1.8 mm outer diameter and lengths of 1000 mm and 1200 mm are offered, compatible with working channels ≥ 2.0 mm, with a jaw opening of 9.5 mm. In gastroscopy, both slim 1.8 mm × 1600 mm forceps and reinforced 2.4 mm versions (1600 mm and 1800 mm) are available, suitable for working channels ≥ 2.8 mm and offering a jaw opening up to 15 mm. For colonoscopy, longer 2.4 mm models with 2100 mm and 2300 mm lengths are provided, also requiring channels ≥ 2.8 mm and featuring a 15 mm jaw opening.
This broad range ensures clinicians can choose the most appropriate instrument for each procedure, optimizing efficiency and safety in endoscopic practice.
